Why
Personal Coaching?
Have you ever felt as
a manager that you’ve been on a training course and found...
• … some of the material fascinating and very useful
in your job?
• … some of it was interesting but not really useful
in your job?,
• … and some of was neither interesting nor useful in
your job?
…and
that whilst you got a lot of information and skills about your job,
you were left to put the bits and pieces of what you learned, and
your “reality”, together on your own?
Coaching
puts you at the very centre of your own learning. You decide the
areas of your performance you want to improve… and you decide
what goals you want to set for yourself … and you decide how
long it will take … and you decide the route you will take
to get there. For many people, having a coach who can …..
- help them get clear about what they are trying to achieve and
about how they might achieve it,
• test and explore your own underlying assumptions,
• help you make sense of feedback in a way that you can practically
use it to develop and grow.
• simply be there to “bounce ideas off”, …..is
an invaluable tool in their self-development “journey”.
Personal Coaching
allows you to explore that “journey” in a challenging
and confidential way with someone whose simple goal is to help you
get the best out of yourself, or improve in the areas that are holding
you back.Developing yourself is not an easy process. It takes time
and clarity of thought and self-determination to see it through.
So …
how does it happen ?
Realising Potential will contract with you
for an initial six coaching sessions. After six sessions, clients
are entirely in control of whether to continue, to stop, or to take
a break and return to it later. We have found that this approach
reinforces the nature and the challenge of the coaching we offer,
but also the commitment it requires from you to get the best out
of the support. It also gives you ongoing control over how much
you are spending on your development.
How
often do we meet and for how long?
The
frequency of the coaching sessions will be influenced by you, but
usually meetings take place every three to four weeks, and are of
two to four hours duration.Where do we meet?
Whilst meeting
in your workplace is possible the easiest way, very often clients
prefer to meet outside of their normal work environment as they
have found there can be a lot less distraction than there is at
in work.
